Zauberwald, meaning "Magical Forest" in German, was inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of Northern California—a place reminiscent of the most beautiful scenery west of the Swiss Alps. We’ve brought a taste of authentic European cuisine to this enchanting region, serving traditional mountain-sustaining foods crafted with the finest ingredients from around the world.

Our journey is fueled by a passion for culinary excellence. John, a Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef, graduated with top honors and has dedicated his craft to creating an exceptional dining experience. Together, we’ve studied culinary traditions across Italy, Germany, and beyond, refining our menu through hands-on training in Florence, Tuscany, and throughout Europe. From handcrafted bratwurst and panini to house-made Black Forest Cake, our offerings bring the rich flavors of Europe to your table.
